A documentary on the history of Doctor Who (1963) featuring new interviews with cast and crew, transmitted as part of "Doctor Who Night" on BBC2 (13-Nov-1999).
With Peter Jones as narrator (yes the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy himself in his last ever professional job before he passed away) this sounds kind of clinical and lacks some of the artificial optimism about DW's legacy and advocacy for its reinstatement. This was made in 1999 when the chance of a new series was zero (apparently).
There are bits of frank interviews with Verity, David Maloney, Jim Acheson and Tom Baker. Nothing too embarrassing but frank and realistic.
Interesting but not defintive.
