Watched 20-Mar on Bluray
The Christmas stuff is presented as odd and out of place. The flying shark is nuts. So is singing to it through the sonic.
But that doesn't really matter. The mood is pretty damn good Christmassy stuff.
The regret ... the loss... is palpably Dickensian. Yet does not seem twee or out of date.
This feels like a retread of an old 19th century sentiment with a streak of timelessness.
A major achievement in a cynical age.
